About this Role
Sesame Place is looking for talented, experienced puppeteers familiar with the Muppet style of lip sync and performance.
- Monitor experience is not necessary
- Auditions are for a brand new live show currently in production and scheduled to open May 24, 2019
- Show will run from May 24, 2019 - September 15, 2019
- Show rehearsals will be held in May
- Auditions, training and rehearsals will be with Sesame Street Muppet Performers
- Auditions, training and rehearsals will be held at Sesame Place
- You must be at least 16 years old at the time of the audition.
Starting Hourly Pay Rate: $15.00-$20.00 commensurate with experience
Prepare for the Audition
- Prior to the audition, applicants will be sent an excerpt of the show. Please rehearse and be prepared to perform.
- Please familiarize yourself with the characters of Elmo and Abby Cadabby prior to the audition
- Puppets will be provided
- Prepare a resume and headshot, which will be retained by the audition team.
