About this Role
SeaWorld San Antonio has exciting opportunities for actors with great stage presence and interactive comedic skills that excel at improvisation. Actors perform in multiple high-energy shows per day to connect with our guests and create memories that last a lifetime. Dance experience is a plus but is not required.
- A variety of employment periods are available:
- Spring (January - May)
- Summer (May - September)
- Halloween (September - October)
- Christmas (October - December)
- Day & evening shifts are available, depending on park operating hours and performance schedules.
- You must be at least 16 years old at the time of the audition
Starting Pay Rate: $10.00 per hour
Prepare for the Audition
- Prepare a one minute comedic, family-friendly monologue. Please no dramatic material.
- Prepare a comedic mime piece creating a story line with a beginning, middle, and end and central conflict that is clearly resolved.
- Practice your timing. Be sure not to rush the moments in your piece and remember that you're not just reading words... think about the emotion behind what you're saying and play the part.
- In addition to your prepared piece, you may be asked to read and learn additional material, or participate in improvisational exercises.
- Auditioning can be a lengthy process; you may be asked to stay for a callback.
- Prepare a resume and headshot, which will be retained by the audition team.
